IAN | tear down this wall! Well, perhaps not quite, but we need to think about the image we present to Bremen-Nord with our imposing fences and walls. Check out the editorial here.

Green Team editorial on its way
29 04 2007IVAN | A new editorial has been written on the issue with the Green Team facilitating the green areas around campus. The Green Team is part of the contract between Jacobs Facility Management and Martinshof, an organization known for providing opportunities to people with mental disabilities. The editorial is ready in its raw form and will soon be published on PulseOfTheWorld.com.
The topic of the next editorial from me will be if and how we should sacrifice our personal freedom for improved security on campus; if the fences are the right way to go and arent’ they more separating, than protecting… Expect to hear from me soon…

Tyrant in democrat’s clothing?
21 04 2007IAN | A new editorial today (found here) about recent crackdowns on democratic opposition rallies in Vladimir Putin‘s Russia – these latest moves should crush any remaining doubts about the quality – or lack thereof – of Russian democracy. And the established democracies should find the backbone to make it crystal clear they don’t condone Mr Putin’s actions in the least.

Above Board
14 04 2007IAN | Well, here it is, the beginning of the Above Board blog, aimed to show all of you Pulseoftheworld.com readers what’s really going on in the heads of the members of the editorial board, and to give you a place to debate / discuss / rant / rage / fume about current events, both on campus here in Bremen-Nord and around the world.
Hopefully we’ll really get underway pretty soon, but as a start, check out this backwards idea suggested by Australian PM John Howard about HIV-positive immigrants. Are his 15 minutes of fame over yet? It’s been 11 years…
